Murat Fıratoğlu was born in 1983 in Siverek, Türkiye, and studied law at Dicle University. Among Fıratoğlu’s short films are Straw Dust (2007), The Edge of All Possibilities (2008), Albatros Dreams (2008), and The Photo of Kholoud Ahmed (2016), which was shortlisted for the Sabancı Foundation Short Film Platform. One of Those Days When Hemme Dies is his first feature-length film.
