Director's Biography

Born in 1989, Lkhagvadulam Purev-Ochir is a Mongolian screenwriter and director. After graduating from studies in directing in 2012, she taught at the Mongolian School of Film, Radio, and Television, as well as at the Mongolian Cinematography Institute. She has directed short films including Mountain Cat (2020), which was selected for Festival de Cannes, the Sundance Film Festival, and the Busan International Film Festival, among others; and Snow in September (2022), which won the Golden Lion for Best Short Film at the Venice International Film Festival and the IMDB Short Cuts Award for Best Short Film at the Toronto International Film Festival. City of Wind is her debut feature-length film.

In the presence of the film crew
