Badis revolves around two women, one oppressed by her husband, the other by her father. They attempt to exorcize the hostility from their environment through games, confidences, and co-operation. It is also the story of two jealous and domineering men who try to maintain conformity in the face of an intolerant and implacable community. The threads of love, friendship, honor, and jealousy inevitably weave together as punishment.
